Be sure to bring your mats and feel free to come as early as 11:30AM. Class starts promptly at noon. Our little brew cats, Black Hawk and Chinook, will be onsite checking poses and looking for back scratches.

Old Guard Biere de Garde Release Party

Join Service Brewing Company Saturday, March 5th from 12pm-5pm as we launch our spring seasonal brew, OLD GUARD Bière de Garde!
The Old Guard serves as the official escort to the President, and its members maintain a constant vigilance over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We honor the 3rd U.S. Infantry with a traditional bière de garde. This French style ale is malt-focused with notes of ripe fruit and the woodsy aroma of a well-stocked cellar. The coppery brew’s tartness comes from an in-house honey yeast strain cultivated from our own apiary. But we couldn’t stop there! This wonderful brew also has 120lbs of Savannah Bee Co honey added in the last 5 mins of the boil!
Chef Tony Seichrist, from The Wyld Dock Bar, will be firing up the grill! He has paired delicious tacos with this tasty brew and live music from Waits & Co. on stage! Not enough honey? In addition to Old Guard Biere de Garde, we will be pouring a special R&D small batch of 8.6% Braggot brewed with clove and nutmeg, along with a couple other exciting small batch brews.
This event also serves as the kickoff fundraiser for SBC’s Spring charity, 200 Club of the Coastal Empire! A portion of event proceeds will benefit this amazing local charity that provides financial support to the families of fallen firefighters and law enforcement officers.
