DESCRIPTION:The time has come to introduce Inflatable Dummy\, the second of three Double Dry Hopped Double IPA’s coming soon from our newest limited can releases\, Ghost Army DIPA Series. \nDuring 1944\, a clandestine U.S. Army unit composed of artists\, architects\, actors\, and designers was called upon to conduct one of the most creative missions in military history. The Ghost Army\, as they came to be known\, consisted of deception specialists who forged whole phantom armies using inflatable tanks\, voice-recorded radio conversations\, sound effects\, and stage illusions. These advanced tactics fooled the enemy and saved an estimated 40\,000 lives. Their story remained secret for over 50 years\, until it was made public in 1996. Inflatable Dummy is the second release in our Ghost Army DIPA Series\, honoring their bold creativity and the surreal tools of their trade. \nInflatable Dummy is a vibrant\, fruit-forward Double India Pale Ale bursting with a wide range tropical fruit and citrus character. Double dry hopped with NewZilla hop blend\, a collaboration with Hop Alliance and Pikimai Hops\, this bright and effervescent brew delivers juicy notes of guava\, apricot\, tangerine\, and lime zest. During this workshop\, participants will glaze a 28oz ceramic beer stein using the “tape resist method.” Tape resist glazing can be used to create a variety festive designs provided by Knack Studio as well as including geometric patterns. Enjoy a pint of beer\, get your hands dirty\, and create a one-of-a-kind Oktoberfest beer vessel! Not into taping\, no worries\, participants are welcome to free style and hand paint mugs. \nThis $47 workshop includes one pint of beer (or nonalcoholic beverage)\, one ceramic beer stein and all the glaze and supplies needed to get creative. \n*Glaze will be provided to all class attendees. DESCRIPTION:The time has come to introduce Artist of Deception\, the first of three Double Dry Hopped Double IPA’s coming soon from our newest limited can releases\, Ghost Army DIPA Series. This triple can series was inspired by the stories of a secret U.S. Army tactical deception unit. The Ghost Army was activated in 1944 during WWII. This top-secret Army\, comprised of mostly artists\, architects\, actors\, set designers\, engineers and lawyers carried out more than 20 deception campaigns creating visual and audio deceptions against the German Army using theatrical effects\, inflatable tanks\, sound trucks\, and fake radio transmissions. The army recruited from art schools\, advertising agencies and other occupations that encouraged creative thinking. By the time the Ghost Army left Europe in 1945\, it was credited with saving the lives of 10\,000-40\,000 fellow soldiers. Their story was kept secret for more than 50 years after the war until declassified in 1996.\n\nFor the label designs\, we teamed up again with our friends from Artrepreneur\, an artist run global marketplace and membership platform that supports and promotes artists by providing business opportunities and resources. The Ghost Army DDH DIPA open call had over 100 artists portfolios submitted. After a week of jurying artist from all over the world\, our team landed on the work of a talented artist from Mexico\, Esteban Martínez. We are excited to showcase his creative narrative on each can!\n\nAbout the beer: Artists of Deception is a crushable Double India Pale Ale with a delicious mix of tropical and citrus fruits with a touch of bitterness on the finish. Notes of mango\, pineapple\, orange\, guava and lime zest are highlights from the double dry hopped additions of Krush and Elani hops.\n\nFood truck: Red Taco Truck 12:30-8pm
